This is important if you ever want to add lifts later down the road. I went 6 inches in the main shop and was going to go 4 inches but wound up with 5 inches in the break/bathroom areas.

Sickfast is dead on....Do your homework and invest as much as you can afford. It will payoff in the end.

Mine is 24x32x12 with 10' door on 24 side. Wish I would have gone 36 or 40.
