Re: what are your thoughts on this truck?

I'll be commenting on this in a few day's as it would be nice to get a few more posts. One thing I will say at this time is that if you can build a truck for $8000.00 including the purchase price( not saying that I did or didn't) why doesn't everyone have a finished driver at least on this board?

esll.

We should have an $8000.00 dollar club. Everyone in this club has to purchase and build their truck and not spend more then $8000.00. KillBillket a Rat Rod board has a $3000.00 club. What are your comments on this club being added to the list we have now. This could be the demise of the unfinished project club.

Re: what are your thoughts on this truck?

all the trucks and comments are great , but i agree that this is what he wants his truck to turn out like. personally i probably would not pay that kind of jack for a turn key, but i also like to tinker on diy projects. my build has been stuck in nuetral for about 2 mo. but i figure that my oldest child is 7yrs old now so i have 9yrs to get it finished just right , plus she can help to fix it and stuff when she gets older, cause to many kids these days just get handed keys and don't have any respect for what it takes to work on any vehcile any more. my step father helped me work on what ever truck i had and i love him for it.(sorry if i strayed off topic) any way do it how you want it and you will be happy either way,(build or turn key).

Re: what are your thoughts on this truck?

There doesn't seem to be very much interest in my post with regards to how much do you think it cost to build my truck. Therefore I will not be making any comments on this post. The 2 post's that responded to the post I made are too similar to make a good comparison. Perhaps some of the members who have trucks finished in the $8000.00 to $15.000.00 price range including purchase price could post photo's of their trucks as well as how much $$$ it took to do it.
