well i get crap milage,i just filled it up 2 days ago and am on a 1/4 tank now. i drive 32 miles a day to and from work on the highway.
the rear in it now is a 3:73. i have a 5 lug 3:07 in the bed and the speedo is way off right now. i hope to get better milage when i put the new rear in and have the speedo working right again as the trans is geared for a 2:73 rear.
i think the worn out carter is more of a culprit though for the bad milage,or edelbrock if ya preffer guess i could put the holly 600 on it and see if it gets better.

I was wanting to keep the 6 just for uniqueness, and was planning to go with an automatic. Will an overdrive tranny hook up to that and if so would there be any point in doing so? What gears are best to have out back for mileage? Dumb question but can you get fuel injection for a straight six? :p

We currently have 4:11's. on 40" Tires.
Wonder what the mileage is on the rig behind yours in the pic.
