Best auto security I've found is to leave my 125lb. Rott. in the truck when I go into the store . I come out & garaunteed there's no one within 15' of my truck.

Man. This is my 4th 69 SWB. All three of my others were stolen. I recovered the first two. The last one...I never saw again. However, I had it for sale for $5500 and the insurance company gave $9200...that works!!!

I use an Autolock . Harder to cut through the brake pedal than the steering wheel. I also have a fuse on the battery wire to the ignition, under the hood. It's a blown fuse when it's parked. If the @#$% gets through the Autolock, he'll waste a lot of time farting around looking for a kill switch that's not there before giving up or going under the hood- which you can rig up to lock if you like.

I also like the idea of an assortment of razor blades on the ignition wiring. For those crooks who like to reach under and grab without looking

Go-jacks work wonders too, for those of you who think you can dump your truck with the bags, and park it within inches of something thinking a thief cant move a big assed whatever you have blocking it in.

slide it in, pump a couple of times, repeat, push truck wherever you want it.

Most smart thieves wear gloves. Gloves leave no prints. Batting gloves and golf gloves work great - you can feel everything like it's your own skin and not leave a print. I had some hoodlum friends when I was younger, this is just one of many tricks. Razor blades don't handle leather too well.

Just my 2 cents worth, but ugly trucks don't get stolen. I like the Grant system and plan to install one in the very near future (after I install my tilt column, when the weather cools down some). Good luck and keep on truckin'...............Jerry

They do if you have a $29.99 Shchucks Stereo in them. when I had the luv (it was a POS) it got taken and when it was found the radio was missing.... go figure. Guess it was worth more than the truck Oh and funny thing is when the cops found it, it had more gas than when it was taken
