New Bumper!
Well Sunday I installed my new Goodmark Bumper, I guess it's the best aftermarket bumper you can buy off the market. I looks better than my old one (An after market from the mid-80's that had more waves than the perfect storm ) Anyway here are some pics....and the only reason I didn't jack the truck up was because the bolts weren't hard to get to and I was in no hurry
BTW, for some reason it was a pain to align the bumer and I ended up finding out that Brown sits about 3/4" higher on the drivers side....Soooooo when I was aligning my bumper I kept thinking the bumper was crooked when the truck was and it took me about 4 tries to align it

Question for BabyBlue, is the steel on the Goodmark as thick as the original bumper?

i have been real busy the past month actually.
a few months ago i got a 78 GMC LWB, and it was in need of a resto. i got an 84 burban for free for parts. so u can guess what i have been doing. i got the front clip, and doors off both the 84 and 78. the front clip and doors from the 84 are going on the 78. i still need to do a little hacking to make everything fit perfect, but not much. i got the dash's all ripped apart as well, and getting ready to paint the 78 dash, and install all the 84 stuff. i got the dual echaust off the 84, and that will be going on the 78. also got the frame and firewall painted as well on the 78. only thing left is, put front clip on the 78, and both doors. also a new ps rocker for the 78. do the dual exhaust, clutch, and paint. pull engine and trans from the 84, and take it back to my buddies, and pull the hitch and rear bumper and seat from the 84. also install them as well. i probably confused you guys, and gals. but yeah well. i do have lots of pics. but dont really feel like uploading them. aaron

Rear bumper will be the same way, need some modification of the brackets for it to bolt up correctly. Those smooth rear bumpers look really slick on our trucks though!
