any of you have some problems when fitting the notch, due to the frame changing dimensions? also where the old shock mounts were on the frame, kinda screws things up.

Your notches look good.
As far as the shock mounts go, maybe you can fill them before welding the notch in. Since the width of the framerails change with maybe you can weld in a filler strip the width of the wider frame areas to make up for the narrow portions of the rails.
