I got a lot more work done on the truck. Went out into the garage after posting and got the rest of my holes drilled. When I get home today I'll find out if it was all for naught after I check alignment of the tranny xmember for proper clearance!!

If all goes well, I'm going to snap a photo and post some pics, I hope!

I replaced my radiator, filled with water, watched water run out of freeze plugs, shut the hood, and checked on the progress of my new motor.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

My wife had shoulder surgery done on Thursday, so I was her nurse from Thursday though the weekend. I started itchin real bad on Sunday to get some work done, so I told her that I would be right outside. So I did an HEI ignition tune-up, and carb tweeking... massive change in performance . I also got the tires rotated on the 'burb'n

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

I had a great week end. I went to the board meet and cookout at White house Tn. It was hosted by Yellow 69 and family. This was my first event as I'm still a newbie and must say have never felt more welcome. I want to say a big thank you to Luv2xclr8 who went out of his way to make it possible for me to attend. I appreciate my new family and look forward to meeting more of you in the future. If anyone gets to my neck of the woods stop in and say howdy. Again thanks for a great day.

Re: What did y'all get done this weekend?

Well, lets see.....pretty good weekend !

-New carpet installed
-Dash put back together
-New seats installed, (buckets from 04' Tahoe....that power seat is NICE !)
-New Door seals installed (Push on ones, THANKS GMC PAUL!)
-New center console installed between bucket seats
-New glove-box liner installed (you know...the "high security" cardboard !)
-New glove-box light installed
-New Dome Light installed on back of cab

So, I'm close.....

Need to change trans-pan gasket, (leaking a bit) and put on a new flexible brake hose on the rear, (Mine looks REAL BAD!)

When I get done with that, I'm gonna shine-er' up real good and post a few pics. Been 6 1/2 years in the resto.....but I guess we are never done !
