It's Sunday dinner time, what did you accomplish this weekend?

Made lots of progress on the drag truck even got to hear the 468 for the first time in 8 years since I sold my camaro drag car! I'll try to post pics tomorrow! I've got to bust my @ss this week to be at the track on friday night!

Nothing as it chucked it down with rain all weekend, so much for global warming as we have sleet/snow foecast for today. I did do a little surfing however and scored a brand new Edelbrock Performer EPS manifold for a good price, already in the UK £129 sterling including tax and delivery. That'll cure my leaking t-stat problem where the stock manifold is corroded and give me a few more horses in conjunction with a swap to HEI at the same time.

Spent Saturday AM changing out a window regulator in the 02 Bonneville. $342.19 later the wife is happy. Wait till she sees the bill for labor charges Most of the time left was spent cutting trees, triming bushes and ripping out a Katrina damaged fence. Hopefully this weekend I'll get some quality truck time again, but still got about half the bushes to trim and haul off.

Rearranged the garage a little & started loading the truck for the swapmeet in 2 more weeks.

All I did was spend cash, Summit and 4wheel parts are my new best friends (well, after what I spent, I am their new best friend!) I went to Tucson to check out a car show/swap meet and spent more $$$ with Rick's pick up parts (sheetmetal and lots of it) Now, if the weather will cooperate this week I may be able to unbox and install some of my goodies.

Picked up an 88-98 silverado fuel filler door and bedside section from a 'yard and sanded down about 1/2" of hidden unnecessary bondo in my step fenders

I rented a drywall lift and did the ceilings in 4 rooms in our new house (replaced the old shabby looking acoustic tiles) then did some yard clean up. While I was out there we measured the garage roof for new shingles, yet another project, so glad that we decided to buy a house.

On Sat. I spent a little over 5 hrs driving to Olympia, WA to pick up 3 utility buckets out of a 67-72 blazer. The good part is I got to meet a fellow board member, always a treat. I purchased these from Wes at Classic Heartbeat Pickup parts. I met with WES on Sunday morning as I did not get to Olympia till around 10:30 pm on Sat. had the sons soccer game first. After spending a couple hours at WES'S I loaded up the seats and headed back to Spokane, WA. It was worth it though.

I washed my POS Honda and stared at all the new rust holes that have appeared over one winter. Glad it is going away this weekend.

Surprisingly enough we only had one little snow bank left in our back yard on Sunday. The house we bought in January has had little to no yard work completed on it for a couple of years so we have our work cut out for us. We plan to finish the interior and paint on Easter weekend then start on the exterior. Should be fun.

Picked up a lwb bed and 2 tailgates. I may try to cut the bed down into a shortbed. Will probably sell the tailgates.

I installed a new steering box and a fan shroud, I also took both doors apart and found my stock mirror backing plates, cleaned out the crud in the doors, fixed the locks that wouldn't work, and the passenger's side door window that woudn't roll down. I used plenty of never-seize on the door panel screws putting them back in, because I had some trouble with them not wanting to budge. Then since the weather was so nice, I took my truck out for a spin. In all, just little things...
