Well, being inspired by efabman's fabulous metalworking, I worked on my spare cab tonight for a while. I had to plug up a few small holes here and there so I decided to plug up the filler neck while I had the welder out. Well... suffice it to say I'm not efabman! It's plugged up, but I can assure you that you can tell it was once 2 pieces of metal. Nothing a thin coat of filler won't fix, but man... how does he do it?
Efabman, I need you to swing by this weekend for some metal work. I'll buy the beverages. maps.yahoo.com shows it to be a mere 852.3 miles (give or take). I figure you can do it in about 13 hours or so. Oh, and bring your tools Kenneth

efabman,
We are all humbled by your body work skills, so can you now show us where and how you hung your fuel tank? Did you put in a filler door too? That would be sweet to see from you. Thanks.

earl, you really need to make up a bunch of those blanks and sell them. as i see here it is a really desired item on this board. it will save alot of people alot of work, especially me, i can do it but really dont have the paitience for fabrication work. the rest of body work i can handle but dont like to try to make things like that. time is money for me and i dont have much time!
