I like the GMC also, but no truck of any make or any year is better looking than a '67 Chevy IMO. I just bought a '67 clip for my '69 Car hauler!

GMC! Honestly, I don't like the look of the 67-68 Chevy front clip, but I really dig the 67-72 GMC clip and the 69-70 Chevy clip. Don't get me started on the 71-72 Chevy clip!!!

It does look better as you described (lose the vertical bar as shown below) IMO. I'd still go chevy though. Just because everyone else wants a hot chick doesn't make me want the opposite

The 67-68 GMC is all workhorse, the business end of GM...67-68 Chev is more appealing to the feminine folks, clean lines. Northcountry67, I think your front end will look real mean in that gray metallic. Just kidding on the "feminine" reference.

I prefer a pair of sevens to four 5 3/4s on just about anything. The Chevy just looks cleaner & more attractive to me.

I prefer the GMC grill of any of the 67-72 years to anything Chevy offered. The '71-'72 Chev isn't bad looking, but it seems everyone and their brother has on on their truck, and its sort of like V-8's...............Doesn't anyone WANT to be different?

I'd like to put a GMC front clip on my '72 K-20 Chev, but it is hard to find GMC parts trucks around here, so I guess I'll keep it stock.

It seems everyone wants the '67 Chev grill/hood now..............

Yeah, for some reason I love the dual headlights. And yes, I did give the Chevy the unfair advantage with it's chrome grille trim...

If any 67-68 GMC guys wanna trade front ends, lemme know! I think a chrome GMC grille would look cooler.
