Re: Its finally done
I never had a problem with 3 on the tree in most of the trucks we had..........My '71 originally was a 350/3spd and it shifted great IMO, but my brother often got it hung up. I always shifted slow, like I do in a semi, and it always "Fell" into gear..........He rushed things and they weren't ment to be used like that.
Now the ole '69 Farm Truck had extremely high mileage on it and the 3spd worked well on the road, but it sure didn't for general stuff around the farm.......Backing a 4 wheeled wagon into a building with it, I often got the shifters hung before I got the wagon where I wanted it. So we took an old Mr. Gasket shifter and put it on the floor..........Half the shims were missing on it, and it drove like the 9 spd in our worn out semi But it worked well, and I could back wagons without popping the hood and assaulting the column with a screw driver

Re: Its finally done
Hey Smitty, it looks like they are digital, so I'm curious to know what digital gauges you are using, how they were retrofitted, etc...

Re: Its finally done
Shifty,
Its dakota digital, Its a sweet setup, comes with everything, all you need is to use your bezel, and wire it up, all the sending units come with it except the fuel, it has a calibration to use your stock unit, you just have to find a place to mount the small cpu that comes with it. cost 550....Well worth it for the quality. Smitty
