Re: autolite plugs in a in a chevy
Hmmmm...Ive always loved this debate, working at parts stored for a few years while in school Ive heard everything.
Its like I always told my customers...."These are what came stock, I would reccomend those. But these are this much, those are that much. Ive personally ran everything in my cars and couldnt tell a difference in the way it ran, so what'll it be customer?" But if they said they wanted Bosch or Spitfire Id tell them they were out of stock....cuz they suck! Lol, and I always loved the idiots who put nitrous or a turbo on they're 18 second Honda and came in and bought the hottest plugs we had.

Re: autolite plugs in a in a chevy
I used to drag race Harleys and the autolites worked best us .We tried all the fancy higher dollar plugs. I actually think as long as you are getting a good spark they all work. Never really ever wanted to fall for gimmicks. Try them and if you don't like them go back to AC.

Re: autolite plugs in a in a chevy
I run NGK I like em but not sure if they are any better than anything else. As easy as plugs are to change in our trucks I think platnums are overkill.

Re: autolite plugs in a in a chevy
You never tried to change plugs in MY truck!! But I honestly don't know if platinium plugs are any better I just bought them this time because I hate changing my plugs with my headers.
