If Im gonna put ten thousand plus $$$ in a truck, I don't want to get cheap $10 trophys at car shows and get freaked out about grime on my neon painted A-arms. I want to drive the the freakin thing and race hondas and stupid Dodge Ram's all day "**** Hemi's" btw. I Didn't want to bag my truck so I can stare at it parked while Its slammed to the ground. I will sell My Air bag system soon if anyone is interested. It is only 2-3mos old and have tons of extra fittings and parts which are expensive.
Are you saying porterbuilts crossmemeber is only $850???

No. He meant that Porters C-4 Dropmember is built to use ShockWaves (which cost $850pr).

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

If I recall, you can run coil overs with the dropmember as well.

I think one thing to also consider is the Shockwave is NOT just an air bag. It has an integrated adjustable shock so you can tune it to fit your needs. It's like the coil over but with a lot more height adjustment as well as tunning adjustment.

I edited my original response. I didn't mean to infer the ShockWave's were mandatory.

No worries there. I just recall from Nate's C4 post that you could replace the Shockwave with a coil over even though he didn't think people would.

I still want one and still hope to install one in a few months, it just won't be on my truck this time.

Like Kevin said, there is a lot of design and thought in the dropmember. I think it's well worth the price.
