The 1st pic shows that I didn't cut as much as I originaly thought.
2nd & 3rd pics shows the plate that will be notched on the inside frame rail. 4th pic shows that I need to clean up the rearend housing and do a little clean up kutting after I get it all done. I really do want to thank every body for there input on this project. Everyone is welcome to bring more feedback. When I get everything done I will post more pics for final approval. Again, thanks everybody. |

Is your truck on jackstands right now or sitting on it's wheels?

I would highly recommend putting jackstands under the frame in front of and behind the spring perches so that you don't run the risk of bending the frame while you are cutting.

Wasn't sure about your question till your last response. Yes, it was on jackstands while I was cutting the frame. Left side is done and all bolted up. Couldn't get pics cause the Batt went dead in the camera. I will post more pics when I get it complete. I'm also in the middle of redoing the bed at the same time. |
