HOLY CRAP, i've NEVER seen one that bad. from the looks of the floor those bucket seats were easy to remove .

That's insane. I think member CPNE bought a truck whose frame was rusted in half once, but that GMC is still just nuts.

I see you're in the USAF. I remember while in VietNam we had to turn in a '63 Dodge crewcab and paint it before doing so.
I don't think those New England winters were too kind, either. The damage supposedly wrought by the sand/salt in the bed isn't the only cause of all the corrosion in that body. It may have been the final straw, but it certainly wasn't the first one. I have a son-in-law in Rhode Island, whose uncle gave him a square body Chevy. The truck wouldn't pass inspection due to the rust, in spite of the overall mechanical condition.

Being a plow truck sure doesn`t help preserve them.Then,once parked rust has a party.I had to pass on a great deal on a`77 fully loaded K/30.The axles were even scaling and flaking.This was in the`80s.
