Thanks dude...
I'm still open to ideas if you have any. Was thinking about moving the headlights down to the lower pockets and leaving the uppers empty.??? |

Re: Update on my 81 Step-side
Here's another idea, once you move the headlights down, use the upper pockets for ram-air intake inlets, kinda like what Gerardo did with his bumper light pockets

Re: Update on my 81 Step-side
the red trim rings and center caps look a little off --- i also vote for turning the bumper back around---
but the flat black looks good - right on

Re: Update on my 81 Step-side
68GMC454,
It took a day or two for the "bumper flip" to grow on me. Either way it goes, I gotta get the rearend down even with the front. Ivan, I have been playin with that idea as well. That is kind of what gave me the idea to try and move the headlights. Streetstar, If I change the color, it will probably be to blue, "Dark Reflective Blue"...I'm just demented like that... Keep the feedback comming... |

Re: Update on my 81 Step-side
Thanks,
I'm still tryin to figure out the center console I'm going to make for it. It is gonna have to house a 12in. Fosgate sub, maybe a den mount, gotta have 2 coffee cup holders, redirect the heating ducts ...... It is just a toy ya know. Can't remember if I said so or not in this post, but AS IS, still have under 550.00$ in it...Soo far, I'm ahead of the game..That is why I like hearing feedback from you guys (and girls) Thanks for the positive feedback. |

Re: Update on my 81 Step-side
I am going to build a console for my truck as well. I am going to use some Acura CL seats in mine, the console I am going to build has to house a 10lb nitrous bottle.
Cant complain about the money involved man.

Re: Update on my 81 Step-side
Take pics when you start your console build, I'm probably going to need a good bit of help when I start mine.
