Re: 67-72 Theme Garage
my garage had the original 1963 setup. I hung some rock and I bought some old kitchen. The floor where I put the base cabinets was not level, so I had to make a 1 inch subfloor and level it before I place the base cabinet on it. The garage is still a work in progress.
I plan on having a computer with wireless internet. Four speaker radio and maybe a 20 inch LCD tv in my MAN CAVE.

Re: 67-72 Theme Garage
The other day I saw a map of America that was made from all the different license plates cut in the shape of the state it was from. I was cool, but they wanted a ton of money for it. I thought about doing something like this, but I have a lot more to collect before I do.

Re: 67-72 Theme Garage
Thanks guys for all of the ideas. With your help I have been making a list of must haves for the man cave.
Shade67 - I like your idea of cutting the last 6-8" of a bed off, making it into a fold down bench. It could also double a kids changing table. I have a 1yr old and hope to have many more on the way. I could even make a nice foam seat that would Velcro to the tail gate for padding. And it would have to have the bumper and working lights. Has anyone had any experience with VCT vinyl tiles? I would like to lay them down in 4' sections alternating black and white to make a large checkered pattern. I will try to attach a picture of one I like.

Re: 67-72 Theme Garage
Garages are for parking or fixing cars. Not much of a "theme" guy. You will LOVE the "garage journal" site then. Lots of fancy schmancy garages there...
