I found a cheap(damn near free) solution for this: SBC Harmonic balancer crank bolt washers.
Go to the local pick-a-part; they will probably let you have them. The late model 4.3s have nice 3/8" thick gold cadmium plated washers.They are also available in the ''performance'' section of your local parts store- 'bout $5each that way...
