I think I'm more excited about this truck than he is! I went out and took some more measurements. When its done, it should be REAL close to the same height as that pic in your avatar. I measured and I actually gained about 9" of drop with that notch.

Not yet going to post up a build thread once i get a little closer on the back, that way it doesnt look like just an axle and a frame sitting on it

Scotts62 Looking through the cab in the first set of pictures there appears to be fiberglass on the inside of the cab. What is that about? I'm trying to learn here.

You coming to get that crossmember or what? Ill give you the 68 crossmember.If your looking to spend some money I have a complete 71-72 Long bed frame all five with disc brakes and power steering.

I know I have way to much stuff but not enough lol.I cleand it all up yeaster day that pic is from when I was moving it all.You can have the 68 crosmember Its complete.

And no on the fenders.Good ones are hard to find.If yours are good on top just weld new bottoms on there pretty simple.

Yeah his fenders are good on top, but to buy both bottoms it's about $50-70 in parts plus fiberglass, welding wire, gas, labor etc... and I see solid fenders selling for $100-150 from to time so it's almost 6 or half a dozen of the other...

Look up the user name zbs64.Its a guy named Jason His truck was built by kp It will give you an Idea of how low you can go with all the fender wells and a stock crosmember.Ive seen the truck in person its badass Jason used to live up here but he moved back to cali.

Just to build up the floor to make it more level for the console but since that pic the floor has been out and have to raise the trans hump so im just going to make it flat with some 16ga and trim the console.

Do you have any pics of the rear setup? I am trying to find as much info as I can on notching and laying out the 62 rear frame.
