Re: Belated Sat pics (11-29) Turkey Run!!!
Mick, I'd be glad to...except I don't know. No seriously I don't. I used a point and shoot camera for all of these pictures. When I do night shots I set up on a tripod and put the camera on a setting that lets me fiddle with the shutter speed. I just keep playing with it til I find one that works. Most of these were more than likely anywhere from 4-12 sec shutter speed.

Nice pics see ten. Did all that walkin' around wear you out? Man that's a big place. I love the night pics. Bealls parking lot was cool. I want that 12 wheeler wagon.

Thanks I figured it was a tripod, slow shutter speed thing. I need to start bringing my tripod out at night. By the evening I have a beer in one hand, a camera in the other and look at that over there, and look at that over there and... The slow shutter really brings out the colors. Now if I can just convince people to not park so close together so I can snap a good quality shot of their car. People always ask "How come you didn't get a shot of MY car" well your whole tribe was sitting in front of it and you were door handle to door handle with the next guy. Mick |

Re: Belated Sat pics (11-29) Turkey Run!!!
l felt like the walkin about crippled me! (or at least it seemed that way) I'm on my feet 8 hrs a day on an assembly line but I still wasn't up to all the walking we did. I kinda understand all the people renting the rascals that didn't really "need" em. I still don't think I could roll a rascal...Maybe a motorized cooler full of beer!
Yeah, the night shots at the Bel-Air are a booger! It wasn't to bad on wed and thurs night but it was way to crowded on Fri-Sat to be setting up a tripod. |

Forgot that this was still on the camera.
That's ice forming across the top of my windshield on the way home. Much rather still be in Daytona. |

Great pics see ten. If you want to find out picture information, right click on the picture, click properties. Click the summary tab, and then advanced. This should work on all unedited photos.

Re: Belated Sat pics (11-29) Turkey Run!!!
I'm glad I didn't get to go.I got a bad case of ride envy and sensory overload just from the pics.Asa as usual has done a fantastic job of documenting a show we all wish we could attend.

Re: Belated Sat pics (11-29) Turkey Run!!!
I thought the laser art was pretty impressive and reasonably priced. I did fail to ask for a phone# or to see if he has a website. The guy seemed pretty nice, not pushy like lots of the guys who are hocking stuff there.
I don't remember that 442 in particular. |
