Man, you ain't kiddin'! My father in law interviewed for some kind of process engineer management job up in NC yesterday, he said he was told there was over 400 applicants. Obviously, they didn't interview that many, but still!

Right now, unless you have an outstanding resume, most places won't even call you back unless you bug the crap out of them.

Engineering/construction are NOT a good industry to be in right now. I'm actually starting to think I'll be going through my unemployment before I find something else.

i just kept beating on doors! make of place you would like to go work and some you don't and hit all on the list! even if they are not hiring ask them if they know any one that is!!!
hope you guys that are laid off get work soon!!! i was starting to worry since the unemployment place just got me pissed off!! you can't even talk to a human any more!!!!
