Re: Drop center crossmember ...
Well... it's still monday in Arizona!
Here's some pics of the version that is NOT set-up with the trailing arm tabs. This version is designed to bolt into the factory holes and has a mount for the carrier bearing: The version that employs the trailing arm tabs is almost identical. The obvious difference is that it has tabs for the trailing arms, and it's frame mounting plates are a bit longer and have more mounting holes allowing the user to adjust the location of the crossmember and center the wheels when compressed.

The trailing arm version runs $249. Availabilty will depend on my work load at the time, but worst case would be 3-5 business days until it shipped. Keep in mind, this unit is designed to use a two-piece drive-shaft... don't think there will be enough room with a one-piece.

Also, I know that when I set up my 2 piece driveshaft, with the amount of drop I have, I had to alter the location of the carrier bearing to get the proper driveline angles. Is there adjustability in bearing placement? (in regards to vertical mounting height? |

I know when running an ECE or CPP crossmember it is still necessary to "make modifications" when using a one piece driveshaft and combining extreme lowering. A one piece drive-shaft may be a possibility with this application in certain ride heights or ranges of travel. I have not fit this unit up with a one piece drive-shaft and therefore have NO feedback on this possibility. I didn't mean to whore your thread, and honestly didn't even fully read your first post... just got a little sucked into some of the other's comments and questions. For those with more questions or comments please refer them to the new thread I have just started.

Re: Drop center crossmember ...
Shane, I'm running AirRide's tubular trailing arm x-member with factory arms. BUT I (still) haven't driven the truck or even installed the driveshaft. If I remember correctly, AirRide is a board vendor now, correct?
