Drop center crossmember ...

Do any of our vendors build anything similar to CPP's version of this?

http://www.classicperform.com/Store/...ck/6372LDL.htm

I'm interested in one of these, but would prefer to buy from a board vendor.

I have used ECE's on several builds and it is a very nice piece. Ask for Stan he will hook you up.

Re: Drop center crossmember ...

There should be a photo surfacing here shortly (matter of days) that is crystal clear!

The "blurry" one alluded to was taken on the same roll of film as Big Foot and the Locnest Monster.

Will stock trailing arms work with your set up Nate?

I'm interested in a Porterbuilt trailing arm crossmember, for my "budget suspension" build on my '69 swb. (if that's possible,...)

Re: Drop center crossmember ...

i hope the suprise is that it allows you to use a two piece drive shaft. that would be so simple, and solve alot of drive shaft issues.

I don't think we have (I wouldn't let the cat out of the bag if we had). I just know how you think. That'll be a nice problem solver.

Re: Drop center crossmember ...

How about a plain jane that only serves to tie the frame and hang the carrier bearing for someone that say has a DM with no need for factory 2 link provisions? something like that would make a hell of a companion piece to the aforementioned DM rear.
