And even more. Can't just hit the rust, you've got to attack where it started.

Re: The MONEY PIT

Awesome.....way to jump in with both feet. These trucks are beautiful in their simplicity.

I recommend the 700r4 if youre planning on doing major cruising.

Sorry for the time warp, I wanted to get to where I'm currently at in my build. I'll keep everything updated going forward.

wish I had one! I quit in Nov, and this is where I spend my money now.

I was really starting to feel like a slacker looking at the floor replacement pics until I read that you were getting us "up to date" on your build. I feel better now.

Nice work, keep us posted and keep the pics coming!

Re: The MONEY PIT

Welcome from the ‘Left Coast.’

Your truck looks like it is coming right along and it may indeed be a "Money Pit", but fair warning regarding the subject and the appetite (of some) around here for photos - that’s a "Bottomless Pit."

Mac.

Re: The MONEY PIT

More Progress, got the engine out, received new bushing for the cab and got them replaced this weekend. Hoping this week and weekend is nice so that I can get the engine compartment cleaned, some hole patched up, and repainted.

i believe you have to change the mounts, but the "trees" on the frame will work

Re: The MONEY PIT

With the nice weather I was able to get some cleaning done on the truck. Grind down the firewall and pathed a few hole. Not the best job in the world but I think it will do.
