I have a big mix of cheapo stuff, Mastercraft, Craftsman, got some Gray box wrenches and Asian stuff. If I saw a Snap-on truck sitting on the side of the road, unattended, w/ the engine running...I would be sorely tempted. j/k

You can wish in one hand and crap in the other.
See which one gets filled first.

Amen to Made In USA. I used to have a fairly extensive Craftsman tool set, but they got nabbed (along with my former car) and since then I have had to resort to buying some 'nese junk. They make an excellent computer, BUT THEIR TOOLS ARE LIKE ONE USE CAMERAS. I have gone through two of rachets in the past month.

So to Sears I go to pick out a my Christmas present. BTW most of their current sales end on the 20th- I just wonder if they will drop the price even more or if they go back up on the 21st.

Snapon, because someone owed me a bunch of money on a car he bought from me and I had to chase him down to get the money. I was going after the car I sold him on credit. He was a good friend for years and got strung out on drugs. So I went to get the car a nice Z-28 and he had totaled it. So reluctantly he gave me all of his tools, all Snapon. 10 drawer bottom, 3 drawer middle, top box, 2 side cabinets with 4 drawers each. Absolutely slap full of tools. I said I'd give them back if he'd pay me the balance $1100.00 and gave him an additional 6 months to come up with what he owed me with no interest. That was in 1986 and I never have seen or heard from him again.

My fave is a tie between Snap-on and Proto. Unfortunately, my budget limits most purchases to Craftsman. I like most of their wrenches and sockets, but their drivers suck @ss. I also like and own S/K and of course Klein. My main requirement is that they are made in the U.S.

I'd have to say my favourite screwdrivers are the snap on set I have. If those screwdrivers can't remove the screws then its time for the drill
