Re: Rear Disc Brake Brackets

Maybe I missed it but from what year models are the lincoln rotors from. What are the year models or part numbers for the calipers used? Fill me in on this.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Brackets

The rotors IIRC are '77-'79 Lincoln Mark V rear rotors. The calipers are most any 'metric' size passenger caliper that GM introduced in '78 and used up into the late 80's. The '83-'87 Eldorado, Riviera, and Toronado, as well as the '82-'88 F-bodies had rear calipers with a built in E-brake. I can get some part numbers tomorrow

Re: Rear Disc Brake Brackets

would you still have brackets available? Those are pretty sweet being that they are shipped to your door already powdercoated for the price.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Brackets

Yes I still have these brackets available. Here are some part numbers. There may be other part numbers that will work, these are just the ones I could verify.

Rotors
1977 Loncoln Mark V
Raybestos #6041 Right side
Raybestos #6043 Left side

Unloaded Calipers
1985 Camaro front (no e-brake)
Cardone #184071 Right side
Cardone #184072 Left side

Unloaded Calipers
1985 Camaro rear (built in e-brake)
Cardone #184164 (website says same # for L&R, would need to verify that)

Unloaded Calipers
1985 Riviera rear (built in e-brake)
Cardone #184138 Right side
Cardone #184139 Left side

Re: Rear Disc Brake Brackets

Just by looking at the specs on the two and seeing the differences I would say probably not. But of course the ultimate test is to try one and see. I'll see if I can find time to give it a look.

I should have, but I would have to look and verify that. I know I have the Impala and Camaro brackets if either of those interest you.

I do have this style of bracket for the 12 bolt passenger car differential. Do you need a set for the truck 12 bolt as well?

I don't have anything for a 6 lug application yet. Maybe in a couple months when I get some time.

Re: Rear Disc Brake Brackets

The passenger car brackets are the same price. However if you purchase both at the same time you will save on shipping. A total of $130.00 shipped for both.

They use the same calipers, the '78 and up metric calipers. The rotors are '83-'88 (?) F-body rear rotors. In fact you can use the rear calipers from the F-body as well. That would give you an E-brake

JR

Sorry but no I don't, 63 extreme low got the last set of this style that I had. I may make some more but it would likely be a couple weeks or so. I also replied to your PM. Let me know.
