Yep. Are a-arms normally built with .120 or .188?

I know Nate has modified another manufacturers arms to be used on a 1-ton application and he has said I could get a set for my '89 square. so unless Nate wants to go on record with a "no" my guess he is already ready to go for the 1-ton option.

Depends who is building them. I am not certain of the other manufacturers' specs., but I beleive the other C10 arms available are either .188 or thicker.

Re: Sneak Peek

Here's some weight comparisons (these are without cross-shafts, ball joints, and bushings):

Factory C10 lower arm: (73-87): 22.5 lbs.
ART lower arm: 16.5 lbs.
Porterbuilt lower arm: 13.5 lbs.

Re: Sneak Peek

WOW! I was not expecting that much of a difference in weight. I was thinking a couple of lbs, but 9!

Put me in line for a bare set- no shafts or joints...

Re: Sneak Peek

HOLLY CRAP those are some very nice welds.. Time for me to get off my butt and practice TIG welding...

As far as the arms what will be the price difference between these and the steel ones? Do you make steel ones?

Are the uppers any "longer" than stock uppers?
(for alignment reasons)
