Nice job on the carpet and tailgate Andy.

Me, just the normal, sanding/blocking still. Seems the more I sand, the less it looks like I am getting somewhere. I think I am just waiting on the weather now to shoot the whole thing in epoxy primer and start some color on the interior.

I also fitted the struts into place I plan on using instead of the hood springs.

Re: what did you get done (to your truck) this weekend?

Well no pics, but I pulled the rear diff cover for the third time and finally got it to quit leaking gear oil... Degreased the engine/trans/t-case, changed the filter and pan on the 350 trans, topped off the t-case fluid and detailed the entire truck for a car show just to have it POUR rain at the show. Of course it didnt rain until I was there like 5 mins LOL Oh Well

Re: what did you get done (to your truck) this weekend?

I built a planter with retaining wall blocks at my house with a buddy, then we started building a shed at his house.

On the truck I managed to stop by the parts store and pick up some wire and terminals to wire up my guage panel.

Re: what did you get done (to your truck) this weekend?

I installed new mirrors on my '67 burb and debated parting out my '69 c10 longbed. Hey Longhorn Man are those 6x9 speakers in front of the wheelwells? How do they sound there?

Re: what did you get done (to your truck) this weekend?

yes... 6X9s.
I don't recomend putting them there if you have 3 row seating. The drivers side speaker is blocked (acusticly) from your ear, so you hear mostly the passenger speaker.
There were already speakers in that location, otherwise, I would have never cut up nice panels like that.

Re: what did you get done (to your truck) this weekend?

Has anyone ever noticed that the "What did you get done this weekend" thread is always started by someone who "did" manage to do something to their truck?

Re: what did you get done (to your truck) this weekend?

I looked at it through the living room window and tried to figure out how long it will be before the ankle I broke(on Thursday evening ) can push the clutch in.
