Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
yellow looks awesome!
I gotta ? nottrying to be a smart .... but why paint your truck if its going to ride that low and take off all the nice paint? Or does it go up enough not to scrape over bumps? Looks sweet slamed but how do you take care of the prettty paint?

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
The paint isn't that nice yet,it's just something i sprayed to change it up a little bit.The truck gets plenty of lift so i wont mess any paintwork up once i do all the bodywork and paint it nice.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
Been working on the truck a lot lately.Shaved the cowl, mirrors, tailgate and rollpan, keylocks, molded the headlight bezels to the grille, and made the grille surround one piece instead of three. Also fixed a ton of dents and rust and sprayed a fresh coat of primer.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
For the front suspension i did a 2-1/2'' Z.No drop spindles, and i"m running a scuba tank setup for the air supply,no compressors.I have two scuba tanks that last about 3 weeks to a month, then i take them and have them filled for $4 bucks a piece.Works perfect for me because i dont like to hit switches all the time, but i do like to lay it on the ground every time i park. Will have more pics soon, doing some more bodywork and going back to black again.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
Thanks for all the complements, the problem is every time i paint it i end up doing more body mods or seeing something i want to change so i'm constantly doing bodywork on the truck. As far as permenant paint goes i am not to that stage of the build yet so i'll probably keep changing it up until i finish the mods.Soon i'll be shaving the drip rails, and possibly chopping the top 1 1/2'' and adding one piece windows, then who knows what color the truck will be!!

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
Thanks,i like the red and black too.The blue was just 2 quarts of grey primer mixed with 2 quarts of blue candy i had laying around. The red is duplicolor performance red base, and black base with no clear. It's really bright, the pics don't show the red very well.I'm an out of work bodyman, thats why all the changes...every time i get bored,my truck gets painted!
