Ya,it's a long bed.I should have the bed back on this weekend after i finish reinforcing my notch, then i'll take more pics.I still have some wiring left to do and need to raise the bedfloor but it's starting to take shape.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
I see you got the drivetrain in there, did you have to cut the tranny tunel? What kinda airbags are you using for the rear?

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
I still have some trimming to do on the tranny tunnel and crossmember. The front is about 1/2'' from laying out,but i will take care of that soon. The rear bags are 2600 and are mounted halfway up the trailing arms.Gets pretty good lift and should ride good too.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
Thanks speedracer,i don't see many GMC's around,so when i found this one i knew i had to pick it up(especially since i bought it for $800 bucks!)I will hopefully have it rolling this weekend, just have to bolt the front clip on and raise the bed floor then take it for it's first ride on air.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
It seems like the gmc's are getting pretty hard to find, atleast around here.I have always thought they looked good, but alot of people prefer the chevy's.Either way,the 67-72 has always been my favorite.

Re: My Zed and bagged 71 gmc
This looks sweet. I have a 71 GMC longbed I am planning to do along these lines. Have to finish my current project first though. Keep up the good work, I will be watching to see how she turns out.
