Re: Drove it home last night

Great Story. I am going with Torq Thrust on mine as well and was wondering about the 10" wheels on the back. It does not look like you tubbed the bed, I really did not think a wheel that wide would fit the rear. You don't happen to know your rearend width and backspace on the wheels do you? I was planning to go with 8" on the rear, but would rather have wider if they will fit without modification. Thanks Enjoy your truck.

Re: Drove it home last night

I was about to ask the same thing about the rearend. Are your fender sheet metal or the wider fiberglass fenders?

Re: Drove it home last night

I will double check the wheel width today for you guys . I bought them 4 years ago so i need to double check . The rear fenders are factory steel , the axle is 70-81 Camaro (80 model i believe ) with 2.73 posi . I had to run a spacer to fit the tires in , it is tight , but doesn't rub .

Re: Drove it home last night

Did you post the motor/trans info? or did I miss it.
Maybe some pictures of the motor too!
What front end did you use?
Are you using a MII rack/pinion?

Nice looking truck!

Re: Drove it home last night

Love the wooden bed,

I guess these trucks are kinda like women, they are always
doing something to get our attention, like a little leak. Keepin
your hands on it is better than it sitting. These should never
see a trailer, ever.
