Re: White Wall Pics
What he said.
Or, theres a guy in the Cleveland Ohio area who does "vulcanizing", just like daimondback does. He's hard to get ahold of, and if you arent from near here, wont do any good. But he charges between 130-175 to do 4 wide whitewalls, depending on your width. My buddy had some do 2 years ago and they look fine. As for Coker and Diamondback, Ive had at least 7 sets of DBs and 3 Cokers, and theyre nice but 700-900 depending on size. Ive also had 3 sets of portawalls, and will not do it again. Some lasted for awhile, others not long at all. So not worth the 100 bones for me.

Re: White Wall Pics
Those look ancient and the seller readily admits the sidewalls are already cracking. I wonder how safe they'd be?

Re: White Wall Pics
Well if you can look at a hot chick AND park your truck without hitting the front tire on the curb, then shaved whitewalls might be for you! However, i fall in the latter category and that happened to me, and now i have horrible curb rash on my front tire. You cannot clean shaved whites up well, and they turn yellow much faster in my opinion. Mine are shaved to 2" wide, and i love the look. But if i had the scratch, i would buy Diamondbacks or whatever. I think for low buck builds and rat rod style trucks shaved whites are perfect. Im thinking i need curb feelers, or i gotta stop checking out chicks while i drive!

Just my opinion, But,, Coming from someone whos spent good money on both Coker BFG radial www's, and Diamondback radial www's, I will say, after having several sets of each brand, I would, everytime, take Diamondback over Cokers. The last set of Cokers I bought was because I won a $300. gift certificate at Goodguys. So it made sense to buy those. Several of you know me from the HAMB also, and I have a album titled Grumpys Used Cars, and it has many pics of cars and trucks Ive owned with www's. When I had a good job, before our plant closed, it was nothing for me to buy and sell or trade cars/trucks frequently. And my usual first thing would be to drop the funds on new www's. Having that wide experience, I always found it way easier to keep the DBs clean and they always stayed way whiter... Just my experience, and opinion... Carry on with your regularly scheduled programming............
