I really dig the skirts, and are those 68 Mopar side markers? I liked those so much I added them to my 67 Chevelle years ago. |

Re: White Wall Pics
I've heard the "Cut in" or "sanded off" whitewalls are harder to clean because the rubber is porous. Any truth to that? My Diamondbacks are simple with a SOS pad, but deathly expensive...

Re: White Wall Pics
Here's the "Do It Yourself Wide Whitewall" videos off Youtube. I might try it on some used tires just to see how well it works.

Re: White Wall Pics
i have had one set of radials like 5 sets of bias plies and the ones on my truck are shaved. i can say for sure my shaved whites are harder to clean.

Re: White Wall Pics
I just want to put in my 2cents. In my younger days I owned lots of lowriders and thats all we would run on our cars, cut white walls. Every lowrider tire shop in town either could cut them or send them out to be cut. Cleaning was fairly easy. Some Westlys White Wall Cleaner and a scrub brush. The only problem I can think of was that they turned yellow faster than normal whites. They still cut them where I live so check it out, much faster and easier than doing it yourself. Pretty cheap also.

Re: White Wall Pics
i have had no problem with yellowing.i thought i would have a hard time cleaning just because of big white walls but its not any harder than any other white wall or white letter.

Re: White Wall Pics
What are some brands of cheap WWs out there? I've only seen expensive ones so far ($199) each. I'm a cheapo, but I want WWs. Hook me up!!
