Re: ECE 4/6 drop/ wheel size

I'll try to find some pics for ya on the steppers. You can try a search for 72BLUZ. He has a 72 stepper with close to a 4/6 drop with 17x9.5" wheel with 275/50/17 tires.

215 70 15's on 15 x 7 rallies up front. 275 60 15's on 15 x 8 rallies out back. 4/6 drop, and you have a perfect stance IMO.

Re: ECE 4/6 drop/ wheel size

These trucks have a 4/6 drop with 17's 255/60/17 and either 275/60/17 or 285/60/17 rear tires. The orange fleet belongs to member Shock_Me and the green stepper is his brother's.

After seeing these, I don't know if I want to go to 17s now... they're a couple of the nicest trucks I've ever seen in my opinion. And I'm thinking the TTIIs as well.

Anyone have any pics of that setup?

And I came across this one looking through one of the galleries. It was one that someone found at a carshow so there arent any specs...do those look like 17 or 18s?

I believe I now have a good idea of what my backspacing limits are. Now all I need is to make up my mind.

Re: ECE 4/6 drop/ wheel size

The silver truck has 17's. That looks to be 17x7 and 17x8 combo, but unsure on tire sizes. Maybe 255/60/17 rear 225/??/17 front?

Yeah that's what I was thinking on the wheel size. I'm still not sure whether to do 17s or 18s with an ECE 4/6 drop. Anyone have any more pics? Just want to make sure I get it right.

That was another concern of mine. It seems like it would be a VERY tight fit if the fender ended up being lower than the top of the tire... Does anyone know if it'll be able to clear?
Here's mine that has a mild drop. I got curious myself how the 96 Vette Grand Sport wheels would fit, so I measured and ordered a set of spacers. These rims are 17 x 9.5 all the way around and there are no issues, even when turning all the way.
