I will be buying some LED tail lights to fit into the bumper on my flatbed. They run about $50 for the pair of tail lights and are 5" round inserts from a local supplier. So I will be running LED's in the near future

Just curious how many LEDs per housing? THem are standard Semi LED rounds right? I know they have many different types

I believe there are 20 LED's per lights, don't quote me on that, but that sounds familiar

I got me a set but still have not got to drive the truck since I got them. Now I just need to get my clear lenses found the for 10 bucks each I guess thats a good deal? But If mine look as good as the ones posted here I will be happy for sure oh yeah I bought them from CCLED. later B.

Ryan,

I got my replacement inserts and they work great except for one thing. My hazards and turn-signals won't work. I remember you saying something about an electronic flasher to remedy the problem. Do you have a part number or something for this flasher? Where can I get one, and what does it look like (post a pic perhaps?)

Also, I like the new design far better than the old one.

Yes you'll need a EL12, Electric Flasher. THis will fix any problem. Just look for the best flasher with the same two prongs as the stock 552.

Let me know if it fixes everything.

Got my LED's on Friday....put them in.....couldn't believe the difference....you can actually see the red reflections on the car behind you!.......love em......didn't have any problems with the flashers working with the panels.....my hazards, brakes and signals all work beautifully...they're worth the money folks......thanks!!!
