yes it was a hard 90. I had it hanging on a hook in the garage for a year so its relaxed for sure. so your saying pull it away from the cowl to allow more gap to the cowl to make it layover easier?

I bought a "GM" one last year. Big difference over the repop one I had (can't remember where I got the repop one.) Sucks you can't get them anymore, I also got a set of GM hinges too

After reading this thread it got me thinking and looking at mine. I have no hood on at this time but I also had put a new one from Truck shop/LMC can't remember who It was bought from and it also sticks up and doesn't fold down. I want No Surprises down the road So I picked up a "NOS one today GM stickers and all
cost me only $20.00"
