3 Same VTA with the race body i made up.

Also have a 85 pickup body for the vta. Sorry no pics of that one. And i would like to add, that my crawler is whats deemed as a "competetion crawler". More or less for competing, rather than scale. Although it is to scale. Just not SUPER detailed. And also a cheaper way to go.
Awesome collection! would love to see a pic of the 85 truck body on the one chassis pretty please

Re: is this a rc or a real truck ?

Well later today turned out to to be now. Sorry again for the double post. Here is the VTA chassis(previosly camaro) with the 85 pick up on it. When I was out racing you had to use a select number of bodies being the Vintage Trans AM series racing. But there were no rules on test and tune/practice nights. So that when i would use it. Also take note that i painted it to look my 87 Wrangler(last pic). Hope you enjoy

Those are just pics I pulled off the rccrawler and scale4x4 forums. None of those trucks are actually mine, unfortunately. I've got one crawler, but it's a Jeep.

A few people have been asking about the cost. It's not super expensive to get into this hobby. For under $400 you could get a ready to run Axial 1:10 scale crawler, radio, battery, and charger. That's everything you need to get started. But be warned that, much like real cars, once you get started you will always want one more upgrade.
Axial SCX10 ready-to-run

1:10 scale trucks are about a foot and a half long or so, and ~8" wide (depending on make and model). There are also 1:18 scale and 1:24 scale options, if you want something smaller to mess around with indoors.

That is awesome! I had no idea anyone made a shortbox lexan body for our trucks. I just knew about the '70 model. I guess I know what I'm getting on my next hobby shop order.

I've got a red '68 Camaro (on a Sprint 2 chassis) that looks almost identical to yours. I really want a '70 Camaro body for it (to match my 1:1), but Pegasus is the only company that makes one, and their body sucks.

it's actually just sitting here 1/2 torn apart. I am going to save some money, and get a suburban body to match my 1:1

Frame came with the kit, and they are losi micro axles.

Well now that i think about it i don't think its an 85... the font marker lights ar supposed to be upright like on the pre 83 but i turned the sticker when i put it on to match mine. The body is from proline:

http://prolineracing.com/monster-truck-bodies

The one i have is for the emaxx but i made it fit. My blazer on my crawler is also for the emaxx, i like the way they fit better. You just have to get longer body posts(pan car) or put the holes in the side like on my ax10.

The camaro is from HPI, i also wanted the 70's one(and the 68 from hpi...i like camaros) but the are really hard to find. I asked my local guy and he said good luck, and that he would try to find one... but that was 6 months ago. That and they are paper thin.

Also i found out it was 1980 body.

Hey this should become a sticky somewhere on the forum... i under stand not here in the 73-87. Somewhere we can talk about rc's and there 47 to present bodies I know there is a section for odd ball things but i would like one for RC specificly. Whos in?

Someone will have to talk to the admin, as i have no idea where to get sarted with making a sticky let alone requesting one.
