Since I can see all the way through the engine compartment, I think I'll call it an RC.

The semi trucks look really neat.

Tamiya still makes plenty of kits as well as alot of your more high end R/C makers. I still fondly rememner the image of a tamiya bruiser and being instantly in love.

Not too many guys build completely from scratch because it's a TON of work, and most people don't like to see all their work get scratched and broken on the rocks. But it's reasonably easy to make a crew cab squarebody, a blazer, a suburban, etc. You just need a couple of Clodbuster bodies, some styrene sheet, some Tenax glue, and a lot of patience. Dunno if I've ever seen a dually Chevy, but I've seen a few dually Fords.

Here are some examples:

Re: is this a rc or a real truck ?

There is so much money into these scale RC's its really insane. For some of the builds that people get into, they can dam near get them selves a real rig :X

I was close to gettin into it but decided the real thing is better to spend the money on lol.

There awesome though.

Re: is this a rc or a real truck ?

Sorry for the double post... but here are acouple of mine.
1 Axial Crawler with a 85 Blaze Body
2 VTA camaro in orange and stock graphics.
3 Same VTA with the race body i made up.

Also have a 85 pickup body for the vta. Sorry no pics of that one. And i would like to add, that my crawler is whats deemed as a "competetion crawler". More or less for competing, rather than scale. Although it is to scale. Just not SUPER detailed. And also a cheaper way to go.
