Re: Inline 6 complete!!!!!!

Excellent! The sixes are where it's at.

I was gonna get my 292 set into place this weekend, but at the last minute I didn't have any flexplate to crank bolts. Maybe next week.

Re: Inline 6 complete!!!!!!

I made two stainless steel 4 barrel intakes, one heated one not. I was going to turbo my 250 until I burned a valve going to Connecticut. No pictures now as I am 3000 miles away from home working on a 16000HP tugboat.

Re: Inline 6 complete!!!!!!

That is some beautiful work, I'm just finishing up my Megasquirted EFI install on my 250, and love to see other's putting work into the inlines.

Hey, maybe I've missed something, but do you have your brake booster connected up to the PCV valve on the valve cover?

Man, today sucked!!!!!! I blew the oil pan gasket..........apparently you are not supposed to use rtv on cork gaskets. I thought I was doing a good thing but I was very wrong. Then the ,barely 3 month old, alternator went out. Then the brakes weren't working. I put in a brake booster, but I didn't adjust the connect rod long enough. And I need to adjust the valves. I miss read on the proper way.

So I consulted with a real mechanic today and he schooled me and I took lots of notes.

This site and it's members have helped me all the way through this process and to all I say thanks.
