What makes you think that?In picture above the crossmember goes to the outside of the frame on this year truck and the top a-arm tower is on the outside as well.The motor mounts we make we send these out with longer d-tabs so they can be trimmed to the customers liking and they can set there
motor at there desired position they want it at.

Just called our customer and asked him on the motor mounts and Yes the bushing part
of the mount is about 1 1/8 off the inside of the frame.The d-tabs will work when they
are trimmed.I also gave our customer the option if he would like a shorter mount this
would not be a problem at all.Our customer will let us know on that if he does.Bottom
line we will help any of our customers all the time with our products.

oh ok, so there is a shorter mount for these, cool and is the inside of the frame blocked in to make it easier to weld the engine mounts too?. I am waiting until the first of the year to decide what route I am going w/ my other project (53 burban).

Take a look at my build.motor mounts were easily trimmed to fit perfect.(53 burban barn find)

i am very amazed at all of this and enjoying it much, not sure of the direction for my build yet but this info on this thread has opened a new set of ideas, thanks for the info guys.
