Very nice purchase. I love those orange trucks. Kinda makes me miss my old C20. You better heat that garage, she's probably not used to the cold!

I really like that truck. Congrats on your purchase.

You guys on the coasts need to broaden your horizons. There's a lot more to see between Sacramento and Connecticut than corn.

Good looking ride. Enjoy!

For sure!
She's got a pretty good oil leak right now. I'm sure it's because the gaskets are shrinking from the cold.

Re: Lurker with a new ride

The Alcoa rims are kind of growing on me, but I still got the Ford van 16" rims this week and brought them to the powder coater to get them nice and white. Will mount some Michelin 235/85/16 tires on them when I get them back.

Re: Lurker with a new ride

This is the way my hubcaps looked that I won on Ebay a few days ago. No dents whatsover but needed a serious cleaning. I used S100 Polishing Soap.

After a few hours of elbow grease they look like this. Now I just have to take them to my local sign painter so he can repaint the black and paint the bowtie blue.

Nice to see you here!
It's been a challenging winter, especially for a delivery driver like me.
It was almost 40 today so I just had to take her out and to the car wash.

Re: Lurker with a new ride

That is a beautiful truck and I think I would leave the wheels, they look great on there. I love these trucks in Hugger Orange. I know you made out a head even including the air fare and transporting versus restoring a rusty truck by a long shot.

Enjoy it !

Just got the hubcaps back from the sign painter. Big thumbs up!

Not bad for an $81 set of hubcaps!
