i dont know why people dont like the 67 68 e brake , my dad once picked me up from school in his 70 with the e brake activated and he never noiced until we got home in my 67 it sticks out to far to not be noticed and it almost makes you take the e brake off before you drive

the handle looks like an add on, clunky even. The 69 and up style is out of site, and doesn't look like an afterthought or mess with the clean looks of the dash

I will see if I still have any pic's the paper work I saw from the Kansas plant was owned by a old nabor of my grandparents that worked there is the 60's and 70's as a shift superviser. He has passed away but my grandfather might have the papers that shows the counts and build specks I will check and post copies. As for doing change overs it takes either cutting the pedal bracket and modifying it or modifying the fire wall for room. the pedal bracket is about 1/4 inch longer than the space that is available.

my 68 has 67 arm rests lol! supposed to be original but who knows! on this subject tho DMV mess up titles all the time! my 72 Jimmy is missing two numbers outta the VIN on the TITLE! took me forever for get a KY title

Could be like Cali that show the original year of sale, so in Cali there are plenty of 68's that have an original purchase date of 1967. My 1970 Buick GS350 had a 1969 date on it.
