Re: 68 workhorse
changing fenders is a pain.
these are pixs from yesterday. someone put mesh on the cowl. donation fender from my GMC parts truck the original chrome bumper has lost alot of its chrome so i experminted with the chrome bumper from the 68 GMC. the brackets didnt line up. i'll be removing it as soon as i paint the original bumper white to match the truck.

now im trying to install. heres some pixs is the thick gasket on it the adapter? what is the yellow circled part for and the green part? yellow part seems taped off. this is the gasket that came with my kit. will i need a new adapter? whats a good place to install the wire to the electric choke.

yellow is a vacuum port for power brakes, Plug it, And use the one on your base plate Green is an old coil steel choke control, Remove it. Use the gasket, And throw that old one away Hook the neg(-) side of the choke, Directly to the carb, And the pos(+) side, Can be hooked to any 12VDC source(examples, oil psi sending unit, water temp sending unit, Fuse panel) Spike
