been a while since I posted anything on this, made a little progress on my frame. now that I have it to this point I'm just dying to get the lines run.... what do you think so far?

I did the same thing and I have about 5.5 to 5.75" from floor to cab rocker with stock camaro small block springs. It could go lower with bags or coilers and lay frame if your into that

Thanks all, & Indian thanks again for the pics..... gave me a clear idea of what I wanted to shoot for with a few mods I added

The stock Camaro ride height is 5.75" like Wheelie said and with the body on it just looks right... a little sinister but not so low I have to worry about scraping speed bumps and accidentally re-adjusting the front bumper on step driveways ( Vancouver Island has lots of those BTW).
It still sits higher than a lot of newer cars and trucks out there so I think I'll keep it the way it is for now. With the axle flip in the back it has a slight California rake to it and with the box on and the custom spacers a buddy made for me the box lines up perfectly with the cab line.

The other good thing is that between the zinc coating and the multipule coats of epoxy, tie coat primer and top coats it will likely never rust again... well in my lifetime anyway

Well on to fuel cell, fuel lines and brake lines.... just can't wait to put the cab back on for the 200th and final time

a few guys around the shop have been saying that it's a shame that I have to cover it up and hide all the hard work with a body..
