Wow, what an amazing transformation. Hard to believe it's the same truck. Nice job.

Re: Some pics of Ol' Crusty

Not sure. Most people that saw it before still call it Crusty. I guess we'll just have to wait and see.

Thumbs up Re: Some pics of Ol' Crusty

That's a big difference--looks good! Plus, your photography has improved quite a bit too.

Re: Some pics of Ol' Crusty

If somebody would have shown me the before and after pictures of 'ol Crusty and said that they were the same truck, I would have told them they were nuts. Obviously, you put in some serious hours to get it looking that good. Great job, man!

I love seeing cast-off, misfit trucks come back to life. In this day and age of scrappers crushing perfectly good trucks, this is truly a success story.

Thank you very much. I love buying them for cheap, and cutting up sheet metal, bending it, and tacking it in to fix it. It was labor intensive. It's no show truck, it's just a driver. But it's just what I need to haul parts, or my kayak around and get looks and thumbs up all day long.

Yes it is! I bought it last year, around this time. He was asking $1,200. He sold it to me for $700.
