Nah only pedestrians, stray cats and dogs(Cats jump real high when HORNED!!) the occasional Moose and Jack-hole drivers that aren't paying attention to the road.

Re: Air horns

Only thing I've noticed is that the horns are considerably louder when the hood is open and not acting as a muffler for the sound. I don't have a hood liner on my burb which is a good thing because it would muffle the sound even more. Yet another reason to remount them to the drivers side front frame rail just behind the front bumper.

Re: Air horns

Location wise on a truck... to me, Since I've never owned a truck without a toolbox... would be some sort of open yet enclosed (expanded metal as an example) box undernieth the toolbox on the drivers side facing the tailgate....

Re: Air horns

So...I'm walking down the street today eating tortilla chips, and this biggg freakin' lifted Ford turns around the corner, and as custom, I wave and give him a nod, but recieve no wave back. Instead, right after he passes me, he blows his freakin' train horn and scares my tortilla chips outta thier bag. And you know, I've wanted these tortilla chips for a week and just spent 4 bucks on 'em, so I spun around with the intention to give him a little hand gesture showing my disaproval, but he had a wheel chair lift in the back of his truck, so I let it go. Still can't decide if he was trying to play with me or just being a dick, but being a Ford I'll bet on a hole.
