Why not get a 5.3 and put a blower on top of it?

That will give you some power!

Turbo'd 292 L6. Drives like a 292 until the boost comes in on hills, or over 2500RPM. Dual carbs on Edelbrock intake, SPAL mainfold, and off you go.
