Re: Finally I installed my buddy buckets

Those buddy seats look very similar to mine that are sitting beside me in my office until my truck comes home from the bodyshop.I even used black tweed and vinyl but covered the whole seat and seat back with tweed with the surrounding part with vinyl. And the middle seat back and armrest are tweed on both sides .I have about $450 in mine but the seats were free to start and in great condition. Yours look great and you got a good deal too.

Re: Finally I installed my buddy buckets

Thank you for all the great comments guys. I am glad that I am not the only one who likes the way the seats turned out. At first my asked me "Do you like them?" and that put a little doubt as to the way I had them done. Now she thinks they look great. My daughter sure likes the fact that she gets her own little buddy seat. Lol

Re: Finally I installed my buddy buckets

Consdiering he did the complete seats for $300, maybe he would do all of us some covers for cheap? If he could do the covers for $225 I'd make it worth your time to get and ship them... Anyone else interested?

Ok so that I don't get into trouble. What do I have to do to be able to sell stuff on the forum?

Subscribe, check out the different types of subscriptions and see which one best fits what you are planning on doing. I think to occasionally sell items (like left over parts) its only 25$ a year.
Good luck, Ryan G

To sell an item like this you would need to be a High Octane member.

High Octane
As a High Octane member you enjoy all the benefits of a Premium Member. This level of support allows members to sell more than leftover parts. You can sell unlimited used parts or some new parts. You may advertise your off site listing on eBay, Craigslist, etc This is not for traditional business vendors.

I am not talking about selling my buddies, but small things like extra goodies that I no longer need.

Re: Finally I installed my buddy buckets

Man, you got a steal in your seats. I bought a seat just like yours out of a '68 & paid $500.00 for it. I dropped it off at Kirk's Kustom Upholstery last week. I'm gonna have around $1200.00 in my seat & door panels when done. I'm having the new foam cut to fit my body, the springs restored, havin medalions put in the backs & door panels to match & the seat frame restored & painted. I'll try to post pictures when they're done & I'm keepin my fingers crossed they turn out at least half as nice as yours. Man they look great!!!!

That's funny my wife says the same thing. She can't believe how much more comfortable it is to ride in the truck with the new seats. Plus my seven year old daughter thinks she's hot stuff because her seat has a storage container below it. It just amazes me how changing the seat can have such an impact on "going for a ride in the truck". That's why I love it. Now to just get my wife to understand the $2500 700r4 conversion that I want to do.
