Re: Headers or Manifolds?

This is how low some cheap painted Headers will look like. These were on a parts truck I bought they weren't on long enough to burn the paint off the mufflers and they were rusty.

Re: Headers or Manifolds?

I heard mention on here of reproduction 2.5 rams horn manifolds,,,, who offers these ?

All 3 of my trucks have rams horns on them,, all are factory as far as I know. What are the differences between these and the 2.5 repops ?

Thank You !!
Tom

I had a 69 C20 with a small block and couldn't keep the header bolts tight,,, I used blue loctite. I changed the motor a couple of years later ,, the bolts were still tight and came loose with no problems.

Another option is a mechanical lock like the Karr locks from Karr products. They are a 2 piece washer type lock that work great !

Hope this helps some !!

loctite works for me too
