Could you attach a skid plate to the dropmember to protect the pan? What is considered a safe measurment for clearence? My S10 has dropped spindles and I want to be safe on our roads around here.

How deep is your pan (from the block)? I thought LH8 was around 8" and F-body was more like 5"...

You're right. I have a buddy that's in to F-bodys so we measured the pans this weekend. The LH8 is @ 7 3/4" and the F-body is @5 1/2". The truck pan is close to 9". I guess somehow in all of this pan/number research I got them confused

It doesn't hang low enough to bother me. It's still above the bottom of the framerails so I'll call it good.

yep 3" "z", stock clams, trans dapt mounts, and lh8 pan kit... the red lines are the botom of the control arms, the yellow is the botom of the crossmember, and you can see the bottom of the pan.....bout 3/4" above the crossmember.....if your really worried about the pan, go with the f-body pans....it alot shallower than this one...if I could have a do-over I would go with the camaro pan....
